I think we are talking about the same thing. I am probably just showing my age.
That is what they were called when my oldest son was a baby. Or maybe it is a regional thing. A collapsable play-pen type thing with mesh sides? (As opposed to the round fence type things that form an enclosure.)
My older son slept in ours when we traveled from a newborn until he was 2.5 and wouldn't fit anymore. Daniel and Lauren use it if we have guests and need to get one of them out of their room. I would just follow the same guidelines as a crib. No pillows, soft blankets, stuffed animals, etc.
