Nope.
He wasn't on meds. His "expert" diagnoses during his 4 1/2 years in the system went from autism, to mild mental retardation, to PDD-NOS, to ADHD and mixed expressive language disorder - each "expert" had a different opinion. All diagnoses were considered "mild cases". According to his files - at one point when he was 6, he was given Haldol for a short time, which doesn't make sense to me since Haldol is an anti-hallucinagenic (I have no idea if I spelled that right or not) and we've never seen any report of him suffering from hallucinations. He was taken off the Haldol though, and has been unmedicated ever since. Several people have suggested medication as an option for him recently... I'm not knocking meds, but our decision was to give some alternatives a try before seeking meds.
