Lissa, thanks so much for posting your story and the video. I loved the chance to see a live reunion.

I think that your video is a great example of how to remain calm for the child's sake. You seemed to be so gentle and soothing to her.

One of the most touching parts of your story was how the orphanage director told Lydia to stay with you for you are her mother now, despite the fact that he loved her and had wanted to adopt her himself. It struck me as true love--that he would act in the best interest of Lydia, despite the fact that he probably wanted to take her and kiss her, too.
