we are almost finished with our international adoption. It was spendy and took a about 10 months but we are picking him up in 3 weeks. Its cost almost 22,000 (with travel)but 10,000 will come back in a tax return so I feel it ws totally worth it. People say well i dont have 22,000. So thats basically costing 11,000.. We here ya go dont go on a vacation this year that save you at least 1000.00 ( use your visit trip as a vacation).. you are already paying for a home study for domestic adoption/foster care thats another 1500-2000.00..Then you have another vacation for around 1000.00(your pick up trip can be your next year vacation)and you get a loan for the rest which is aroung 6000.00.. For peace of mind no birth mom wanting there kids back and the child you pick yourself throuigh pictures and medicals. Its alot of paper work very little classes maybe 3 hours...and your done in...
