Infertility. Went through the gamut of treatments due to recurrent miscarriages, including an experiemental blood transfusion because my own antibodies kept attacking ther pregnancies. Honestly, we didn't even consider adoption until we were done grieving the loss of not having a bio baby. A month after my final in vitro and miscarriage, I got tired of going to bed wailing and crying that there would never be a child in my life. It was only then that we began thinking about adoption. We thoght we wnated to adopt an infant at first, but God had other plans for us. Now that we are home with our 8 year old daughter, I never miss being pregnant or having a baby. My daughter IS my baby,she's just sort of big!
