The child has been mostly exposed to english due to being with us for the past six months (he was in hospital first few months of life) BUT anyway when he sees dad who only speaks spanish he seems to understand him O.K. He only sees dad once a week we do try to use basic spanish words with him ex..bottle, dog, ball, mama, etc.. things 9month old would know. Good Luck to you sounds like a wonderful opportunity. Akat
