Hi Adrienne, We traveled by air a lot with our daughter (car too). I should be embarassed to tell you that for 12 months I used almost nothing but ready to use glass bottles (small and large) and pop top cans. Never once mixed a powder and rarely used the 32 oz can. They most definitely will not explode in cabin; if it were so, it would have happened to me. Wishing you a safe journey; travel is quite easy when they are such young babes, though there is so much to take along!
