Katie, thanks for sharing and God's "waiting room" can seem like a lonely place to be for we have all been there at one time or another.
One thing that God has taught me in my adoption journey is that God's delays are not necessarily His denials. I also love the scripture verse that says He goes before and makes the crooked places straight. Because we cannot see all that lies ahead as God can, we know that He is our Perfect trailblazer clearing the path so all is made ready.
Wish I could just give you a "Hug" That is what we need in times of waiting. Know that God is not silent , He is at work behind the scenes preparing the way.
