I heard the same thing through other people. I sure hope not. I put a baby girl up for adoption in April 1986 through C.C. and I was told when she turns 18 her records could be release to her if I agreed to it when I put her up, which of course I said yes. Good luck in your search. I have been looking for over 5 years for my daughter. I hope I wasnt lied to. lori
