Our daughter whom we adopted from Guatemala was
Maria Rene (Given by social worker)
Maria - Long awaited for child
Rene - A second birth; a second life
When we adopted her we changed it to
Mia Rene
Mia - God's possession; (literally means 'mine')
My wife is entering her 9th month with our baby boy (Jan. 23). His name will be
Carter Boaz
Carter - Industrious; Hard Working
Boaz - (From book of Ruth) - "with strength"- though we named him this because of the character Boaz displayed in the Bible.
