I have to agree with Lisaann...I have a cousin who had serious drug issues until she started on Methadone. It has been an absolute Godsend to her. She went from being strung out on pain pills all the time and in and out of jail/prison all the time to being a working and productive member of society. She even has a job working for the state, all while on Methadone! I know this may not be what you were wanting to hear, but I'm a firm believer in this program to help addicts. Sure, it's trading one addiction for another, but this is legal and is overseen by a doctor.
Bottom line...I think it's a good thing that the bps are doing this to better themselves.
