Book suggestions for adopting older school age child?
Hi! It's been awhile since I've posted. We are finally done with our classes and are waiting for our homestudy to be completed. We are interested in adopting a 5 year old girl we've learned about. The caseworker will be sharing her file with us soon. While we are in the waiting period, I would like to read some books about adopting a school age child. This little girl is in Kindergarten and struggling. I am a teacher so I feel I can help academically but socially she needs help too.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
