It has been a while since I have posted an update on my nephew, who turned 5 months old yesterday. He is still on chemo and has had a second liver biopsy. As far as I know the results have not come back yet. If you recall, there was some talk early on about removing his spleen. Now the talk has become a reality and his surgery is Friday. They are also screening for a bone marrow match. His 3 siblings have been tested and the results aren't back. If you can, please continue to pray for him. My sister-in-law hasn't left the hospital in months as far as I know. Thankfully her 3 other kids are older, with the youngest being a senior in high school, so they have been able to fend for themselves for some things. Their grandmother is here so I think she is helping out a lot. Maybe a Christmas miracle will occur for this baby, I am going to keep praying and believing.

Some of you have PM'd me asking about him and I really appreciate the fact that you think about him in your busy every day lives, it really means so much.

I'll post after his surgery when I know how he is doing.
