In my case, the girls' mother has missed some visits because of transportation issues and these were not held against her. All three of her children are in different homes and she sees them seperately once every other week.

Bio-grandma did call me to let me know that mom is skipping her visit with B this Wednesday so she can drive from Rhode Island to Illinois to spend the holiday weekend with a new boyfriend she met online. B will be devastated because she looks forward to seeing her mother on that once-every-other-week visit. Luckily I will have B for Thanksgiving and the SW is letting her stay with me until Sat. afternoon, so that should numb the pain for her a little. I would think that skipping this visit should be held against her. Who is more important, your child or some man you met on the internet? And bio-mom can't figure out why the state is pressing on with TPR! But I digress!
