[Bug-n-Bears-Mommy]

Since today is National Adoption Day, I just want to take the time to recognize everyone who made it possible for me to be the happiest mommy in the world!

I thanks my husband for his love, our families for all their support, my employer and fellow employees for their help and understanding, everyone who gave us our shining references, our licensor, each case worker who has handled both boys cases with kid gloves, and the judge who granted TPR.

Equally important, I want to thank their birth parents. It may not have been their decision that the boys came into care, but without them, my babies would not have found their way to us. I thank Bear's mother for chosing us to be his permanent home. I thank her for the trust she has in us and the blessing she has bestowed. Although Bugs parents did not sign relinquishment, I will always treasure the note his mother wrote me asking me to adopt her son should she be unable to follow the states plan. Granted their choices in life may not have put their children first, but there was a love that made each child and I thank them for that.

Finally and most important, thank-you God for the greatest gift I could ever receive. I love Bug and Bear like I never knew I could love another human being. Being a mommy is better than I ever could have imagined!
