My agency told us it was all dependant on if you are a type A ot type B person. Vietnam tends to have pretty standard rules, regulations etc and the referral and travel time come pretty quickly. Hoever, you must take two trips and the secind trip is about 2 weeks in length. Guatamala has a very quick referral time, however, your wait to travel can be enormous! Apparently, there are only a few lawyers in the country that take care of the international adoptions. If you are in the USA, your travel to get there will be alot quicker though and you will only have to stay for about 5 days. So it really all depends on what you prefer.
