when we adopted Hannah we gave her 2 middle names, one is her bmom's name and the other is a name her bmom liked. My husband thought it was funky to do 2 middle names but when I'm looking at the birth announcements in the paper I'm seeing 25-50% of the babies have 2 middle names, seems to me that it might be the norm before too long.
btw - the brother of a friend of mine - their kids have 4 middle names!!!
