In addition to having your DH talk to his parents, you can simply exchange what you can and toss the rest out. IMHO it's the same as if they were giving toy guns or anything else you found objectionable.
Speaking as a religious minority, it's pretty hard not to get exposed to Christianity in this country. Your MIL doesn't have to go the extra mile for that.
At some point, if she continues to disregard your wishes, you may have to drastically limit contact. I certainly wouldn't let them babysit, for example.
