Oh boy, that's a tough one. I don't blame you for being upset. It's hard to believe that an agency in the business of Guatemalan adoptions didn't know about the new procedures. For your own sanity, you might try not to let it get you down (I know, easier said than done) and just look forward to having a few extra days to get even more ready for her!
Our agency told us that no one can predict right now how long things are going to take at the Embassy and apparently things are in such a state of upheaval there that all you can do is hope and pray things settle down for them soon so they can get on with it!
