Ours was a closed adoption per the bmom's request. They believed that having no further contact would be easier for them. (We were told that the bgrandparents were not told of her pregnancy.) We did meet them, however, so when DS asks, I can tell him what I know. Also, the agency requires letters and photos to be sent by the aparents to the bparents/bmom at regular intervals as part of the contract.
