  • Hi Laura, I definitely understand what you're going through and I think similar things all the time. I think it is frustrating to think about someone who was supposed to be there for you, not doing anything possible to fight for you. It bothers me to think about it and it makes me think, why would anyone want to be with me now? But I know the more I'm aware of these feelings, the more I'll...

  • from someone who has made it through the other side OKay, I know this is really a vent, and nothing anyone can say can really change anything, but I am getting tired of this unending circle of paperwork, shifting deadlines, changing requirements, corruption, stupid people...and the list goes on. • I'm glad she's coming around. I have never wanted to be best friends with Kiddo's mom, but maybe a friendly conversational, what are you up to email would be a good place to go next with your boy's birthmom. I know it's tough. There just is no right or easy way to go about such a complicated relationship, especially when one side is so scared. Belle - I love this, perfectly said. I'm...

  • Would it be possible to arrange to meet your daughter's bmother in the presence of a mediator so that you can get to the bottom of things? To me, that would be a win/win situation for you because if there is a misunderstanding, you could move forward but if she is as bad as you say, then you will know for sure; and either way you can make a more definite solution re the future. At present, she...

  • Thank you all for your replies and prayers. Sure wish I knew someone that was waiting for an adoptive placement locally that could take this precious little one. Worker seems to think this will go to adoption since dad is MIA and because of the extent of injuries.
